Min. Penny Lane Whittemore is a faith-centered wellness educator, herbalist, and community wellness advocate dedicated to equipping individuals and families in the holistic stewardship of health. As the Founder and Director of the Natural Health Ministries Education Center (NHMEC), she integrates biblical faith, herbal stewardship, and practical wellness education to support the care of body, soul, and spirit.

Since founding NHMEC in 2006, Min. Whittemore has expanded her ministry from a small wellness clinic into an educational hub and online learning community. Her professional background includes decades of study and multiple credentials, including being a Board-Certified Natural Wellness Practitioner, Certified Nutritional Consultant, and Registered Christian Clinical Herbalist. She has developed proprietary wellness frameworks such as The Holistic P.E.N. Way™ and The PENothecary™, which emphasize simplicity, stewardship, and practical application for home wellness.

In addition to her work at NHMEC, Min. Whittemore serves as the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for Herbalists Without Borders and is an ordained minister. Her mission is rooted in compassion and a commitment to empowering families and communities through responsible wellness practices and lifelong learning.
