Integrated Trauma and Whole-Person Healing
The MRMS Foundation and Integrated Therapy Program are dedicated to advancing whole-person healing through evidence-based, brain-based, and compassionate approaches to trauma recovery. The program integrates neuroscience, cognitive rebalancing, and traditional healing methods to support individuals and communities in restoring emotional balance, resilience, and wellbeing.
Founded and led by Dr. Tracy Diefenbach, Ph.D., CCTP, MRMSC, an award-winning researcher, clinician, and public servant, the MRMS Integrated Therapy model reflects her commitment to creating an accessible, global standard of care for trauma and mental health. After losing her husband to suicide following active military service, Dr. Diefenbach developed the MRMS Brain-Based Integrated Therapy approach to help others find healing, connection, and renewed purpose.
Dr. Diefenbach holds a Ph.D. in Integrated Therapy, Curriculum and Design, and certifications in Neuroscience Clinical Coaching and Gallup Strengths Coaching. She is the creator of the MRMS Integrated Therapy, Neuroscience Integrated Therapy, and Cognitive Rebalancing methods—each focused on addressing trauma through integrated mind-body practices grounded in neuroscience.
Her work has been recognized with numerous national honors, including the NU Doctoral Alumni of the Year Award, the National Public Spirit Award, the National Caregiver Award, the Rich Kezar Veteran of the Year Award, and the Pearson Publishing Award.
Through her non-profit and volunteer-based initiatives, Dr. Diefenbach leads a global “Community of Practice,” uniting practitioners from diverse disciplines who share a mission of holistic healing and accessible care for all. Her vision is to establish an international education and therapy center where individuals worldwide can receive innovative, integrated care—free of barriers, rooted in compassion, and guided by science.
